This time of year is perfect for taking an Autumn walk in Exeter. One of our favourite places to visit is the University Stretham Campus with its beautifully planted grounds. There are amazing colours to be seen through out the gardens with the added benefit of searching for the artworks that are part of the outdoor sculpture trail.
Autumn Walk in Exeter
Open to the public all year round, the Stretham Campus is a peaceful place to visit at any time of year. The planting comes into its own in autumn though, with a glorious mix of colours.
The children enjoy finding as many different coloured and shaped leaves as possible while discovering the array of sculptures on show.
The sculpture trail includes works from Dame Barbara Hepworth and Peter Randall-Page and is an amazing way interpret the beauty of the surrounding natural environment.
You can download a map of the trail which also has details of bus routes and the limited amount of parking.
