Family Friendly Events in Exeter this Weekend
Family Coffee Morning
The Twisted Oak at Ide are hosting a family fun coffee morning to raise funds for Hospiscare on 22nd September.
Pop along between 10 and 12 and children will be able to use the indoor play facilities. Tea, coffee and squash will be £3 for unlimited amount, there will be cakes to enjoy and stalls to browse.
Plus a real blast from my childhood – local celebrity Judi Spiers and Gus Honeybun are supporting Hospiscare and will be joining the event too at some point!
Fore St Flea Market
Now expanding into a real family friendly event with stalls, on street cafes and music. And a perfect example of how lovely streets can be without cars!
Streatham Campus Wild Walk
OK, it’s on Tuesday, so not at the weekend but I love walking around the University. The gardens there are so beautiful and particularly gorgeous in the autumn. We’ve had lots of lovely days out there – you can read all about our Autumn Walk in Exeter University Grounds.
This walk is open to all and is led by current students and members of Devon Wildlife Trust’s Exeter Local Group.
I hope you’ve found this round up of family activities in Exeter useful – enjoy your weekend whatever the weather.
