Firezza brings its Proper Pizza to Exeter Families

Firezza Pizza Exeter

Firezza Pizza ExeterPizza Friday is a big thing in our household. Woe betide any member of the family who isn’t home for family pizza and movie night.

We often make our own pizzas; it’s a great way to get the children involved in food preparation and it is one of the most fun things you can cook.  All that rolling, all those toppings, all that mess!

But there are always weeks when everyone has been too busy, I’ve forgotten to buy the topping ingredients or we’ve just got home late from school and work.

So we are always on the look out for a fantastic take away pizza option, one that will cater for all our varied tastes and doesn’t break the bank before the weekend has even begun.

We were over the moon when Firezza, the proper pizza company, opened in Sidwell Street in Exeter last September.

This artisan pizza chain is famous for crafting large 25cm hand-stretched pizzas, which are fire-baked superfast in fire-breathing ovens by experienced pizzaiolos. The result is mouthwatering, Neapolitan style pizza!

In Naples, pizza is a family staple – a fast food that’s simply made with fresh ingredients, perfect for sharing as the family gets together at the end of a busy day. This is the origin of pizza, to which Firezza is determined to return.

FFirezza Pizza Exeterirezza offers a small, but perfectly formed menu of pizza favourites, sides and desserts. You can also add toppings from a wide selection to any pizza, or design a unique “Create Your Own” pizza – a perfect way to cater for fussy eaters!

We particularly love the fact they have a gluten free options as well as vegan cheese, meaning we can cater for the whole range of our friends to create a relaxed Friday feeling with minimum fuss.

Prices start at £5.95 for a Margherita with our favourite Patate (potato, rosemary and onion) at £7.95, so won’t hit the family finances too hard.

Sides include garlic bread, olives, rocket salad and the interesting sounding but not yet tried Sundried Tomato & Puy Lentils salad.

You can order online or by phone, for collection from Sidwell Street or delivery direct to your home for the ultimate lazy Friday.
