Free Wet Wipes Workshop

Fleece wipes by Eccobots

Come along to a fantastic ‘disposable wet wipes are rubbish!’ workshop at The Hub on the Green on 20th January 2012.

Supported by the Devon Real Nappy Project and enabled by Transition Exeter, you can make your own wet bag and set of washable wipes for FREE.

Washable wipes are fantastic whether you are using cloth or disposable nappies – this workshop is open to all Exeter parents.

Families with young children can spend hundreds of pounds on wet wipes, which can contain a whole range of nasties as well as adding to landfill.

Reusable wipes can be used for nappy changing, cleaning sticky fingers and wiping mucky faces and are used by disposable as well as cloth nappy families.

Materials will be provided as will tuition but basic sewing skills would be an advantage.

Babies and children welcome.

This is a free event, tea and coffee will be on sale at £1 a cup.

When: Friday 20th January 2012

Time: 12noon to 1.30pm

Where: The Hub on the Green, 8 Cathedral Close, just a few doors down from Ask Pizza
