Half term activities in Exeter October 2017

I can’t believe just how fast this year has gone. Both children have settled well into their new school routines (GCSE prep for one and formal learning for the other) and it’s time for a break already. We’re so lucky that there are so many half term activities in Exeter this October to choose from – here’s our pick.

Outdoor activities Haven Banks

If your kids need to let off some steam or want to learn a new skill, Haven Banks activity sessions are perfect.
With full-day sessions for older kids and mornings for under 8s, you can choose from climbing, caving, bushcraft, archery, bell boating, canoeing, raft building and sailing.

They are OFSTED registered, accept childcare vouchers and are super friendly and welcoming. We’ve taken lots of their courses and have loved every one.

It’s a shame they are a bit of a secret as they are great fun and good value. The University Sports department offer a range of day and week tennis courses, ideal for total beginners or those wanting to improve their skills.

The Wardrobe Ensemble are one of our favourite theatre companies and we’ve super delighted that they are back at the Bike Shed. The Star Seekers is described as an out of this world family show for 3-7-year-olds, inspired by a childlike wonder of the universe.

It’s on 23rd-28th October and shows generally sell out so book your tickets asap.

Using acting, puppets, craft and physical theatre, children will make and explore their very own adventure.
