Here is a little info on my course –
The Mint Post natal course run for 10 week terms and cost £65. The next one starts on January the 9th.
The classes run from 10.30am – 11.30am in the Priory room at the Mint, there is a big area for buggy parking outside the room which is secure and we have a kitchen and toilets to ourselves.
Babies are welcome in the sessions just bring a blanket or mat for them to lie on and a few toys.
During the class is mums need to nurse, change or comfort babies I encourage them to just do it in our room, this way babies get used to the environment and routine of the class.
The class is done to soft music to soothe baby and keep you relaxed.
The exercises are suitable for mums from 6 weeks on (a little later for C section) and I offer options for mums with pelvic issues or issues with abdominal separation.
Mums take the exercises at their own pace and progress in their own time.
We focus on posture, pelvic floor strengthening, abdominal and shoulder strengthening, spine and joint mobility and overall body conditioning.
It is a gentle relaxing class and a great way to meet other new mums.
Mums are welcome to come a little early each week to feed and change baby and the same applies at the end of the class.
